When to Say ‘I Do’ in Colorado: A Month-by-Month Guide?

Congratulations on your engagement! You’re getting married in Colorado, so you’re in for a wild ride of weather and wedding planning. But don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Here’s what you can expect when getting married in different months in Colorado.

 January -

Brrrr! It’s cold outside, but your wedding will be cozy and intimate. Just make sure to have plenty of blankets for your outdoor photoshoot. This is also a great time to show off your beautiful winter wedding dress.

 February -

Love is in the air! And so is the possibility of a Valentine’s Day wedding. Just remember to book your florist early, as red roses are in high demand.

 March -

Spring has sprung! But that doesn’t mean it won’t snow. March is a bit of a gamble, so make sure you have a backup plan for your outdoor ceremony. But if the weather cooperates, you’ll have beautiful scenery for your wedding photos.

 April -

April showers bring May flowers, but they can also bring rain on your wedding day. Don’t let that dampen your spirits, though. Embrace the rain and have some fun with it. Just make sure your hair and makeup are waterproof.

 May -

The flowers are blooming, and the sun is shining. May is a popular month for weddings in Colorado, so book your venue early. And if you’re lucky, you might even see some baby animals during your outdoor photoshoot.

 June -

Summer is here! And so is wedding season. June is an excellent time for an outdoor wedding, but provide plenty of shade and sunscreen for your guests. And remember to hydrate!

 July -

It’s hot, hot, hot! July is the hottest month in Colorado, so make sure your wedding attire is light and airy. And if you’re brave enough to have an outdoor ceremony, provide plenty of cold drinks and fans for your guests.

 August -

The dog days of summer are here. August is a great time for a mountain wedding, as the weather is a bit cooler up high. Just make sure to check for any wildfires in the area before booking your venue.

 September -

The leaves are changing, and the air is crisp. September is a beautiful month for a Colorado wedding, especially if you’re looking for some fall foliage in your photos. Just make sure to have some warm blankets for your outdoor reception.

 October -

Halloween is just around the corner! October is a fun month for a wedding, especially if you’re a fan of all things spooky. Just don’t forget to incorporate some fall colors into your decor.

 November -

It’s getting chilly again. November is a great month for a cozy indoor wedding, complete with hot cocoa and a roaring fire. And if you’re lucky, you might even get some snow for your outdoor photos.

 December -

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! December is a magical month for a winter wedding, complete with twinkling lights and holiday cheer. Just make sure to book your venue early, as it’s a popular month for weddings.
